The Rose Lounge at the Sofitel St James London Hotel This is a great place for high tea.  It’s a bit of a splurge but completely worth it (the Orangery is a cheaper alternative).  At the Rose Lounge you’re seated in high back chairs or plush couches.  You feel like you’re in a really nice and cozy living room.  The service is great and there’s a harpist playing while you dine.  It’s very over the top and fancy but a lot of fun!
